We have just over a week before our second annual Monster Market, and we couldn’t be more excited! On Oct. 29, 2022, from 11:30 to 4 p.m., we are meeting at Clear Water Academy, Harvey Hall, for a local and family-friendly market featuring some amazing Calgary artisans. Round up the littles and get shoppin’ for a good cause - don’t forget to march the 3k walk that started it all, too. Funds from both events will be going to support the new Children’s Cottage Child and Family Centre. We have 60+ vendors and we can’t wait for you to meet them! Jane Made Honey is a female run, small batch, craft honey producer with gentle beekeeping practices with minimal intervention. The bees forage 10 minutes west of Crossfield, Alberta, on a multi-use farm that is in its beginning phases of a permaculture approach to land keeping. The bees have access to lots of dandelion in the spring, agro business crops mid-summer, as well as clover and alfalfa in neighbouring horse pastures. These craft cocktail mixers offer a fresh, delicious, and well-rounded taste with the most straightforward directions. No fancy ingredients or skills are required! Made among the trees in Millarville, Alberta, Mighty Pines Co will be one of many vendors at our Monster Market!
Created in 2020 in Calgary, Alberta, Dossier Sauce Co. strives to create flavour-focused hot sauces that won't torch your tongue. Their hot sauce journey has expanded into other spicy condiments including a Hot Honey, Hot Pickled Onions and a Jalapeno Relish. Dossier is continually looking to create unique and flavourful add-ons to numerous everyday dishes.
